Advertising disclosure

Clear Path Recovery Guide is an informational website. These documents govern use of the site only—they are not a contract for healthcare or gambling services.

Canada-focused audience. clearpathrecoveryguide.ca is aimed at adults in Canada seeking help-seeking information. We do not offer cross-border gambling services, clinical services, or licensed therapy.

Editorial independence. Guides are not paid for by gambling operators. There are no affiliate sign-up links to casinos or betting sites inside posts. If third-party display ads appear, they are served by ad networks according to their policies—they are not editorial endorsements by us.

Funding. The site may be partly funded by generic advertising. Which ads appear depends on the network and your settings.

No gambling commissions. We do not earn commission from player sign-ups, bonuses, or “free bet” promotions.

Google Ads and similar platforms. Advertising online gambling for real money on Google is subject to strict Google Ads policies, licensing rules, and often certification. This website is not a gambling product: it provides harm-reduction and help-seeking information for adults. It does not promote operators or facilitate real-money play. We do not hold a gambling operating licence in any country or region because we do not conduct gambling. We also do not represent that this domain holds a single-country healthcare or treatment-provider licence on its own behalf, because we do not sell or deliver clinical care as this publisher.

Google “Addiction services” (drug / alcohol) policy — scope. Google states that services unrelated to drug and alcohol addiction—including behavioural addiction—are out of scope of that specific recovery-oriented drug and alcohol addiction services policy. This site addresses gambling-related harm as general public education, not as a clinical drug-or-alcohol treatment service. Read Google’s official text: Addiction services (Google Ads). Google makes final policy decisions; advertisers must still choose correct categories, geo-targeting, and any required certifications for their business.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their campaigns, creatives, and landing pages comply with platform policies and Canadian law (including advertising standards where relevant). We do not provide legal advice.

ConnexOntario, CAMH, RGC, Gambling Therapy, and similar mentions. These are independent third-party services. We are not their agent, we do not receive referral fees for signposting, and our guides explain limits (for example, provincial variation in self-exclusion).

Minors. Content is aimed at 18+. We do not target advertising at children.

No cloaking. We do not serve different page content to search-engine crawlers than to human visitors. HTML is rendered on the server; client scripts do not swap in alternative articles, links, or keywords.
